EPTRI has developed expertise in handling issues related to Municipal solid waste management (MSWM) and has been working in:
Ø Survey of solid waste generation, collection, treatment and disposal in metro cities, Class I cities and Class II towns
Ø The study includes - Fixing of boundaries, topographical survey, EIA, designing of scientific landfill and preparation of DPR for three waste energy plants.
