EPTRI has in-house state of art facilities for carrying out training programmes for participants of various levels from Government departments, private organizations and NGOs. This training facility includes a well equipped and spacious hostel accommodation that can cater to about 80 participants at a time.
Training is one of the key areas of EPTRI. Since 1992 more than 4,000 training programmes have been conducted. More than 50,000 Government and non Government personnel, industrialists, national and international participants have undergone training. EPTRI has been empaneled under the Colombo Plan, which provides training to 24 member countries. EPTRI has network with several leading organizations to draw in experts in various fields. EPTRI also undertakes Training Need Analysis (TNA) if desired by any organization and prepares tailor made modules to suit their needs.
EPTRI has been empaneled as a Key Resource Center (KRC) for drinking water and sanitation in south India by Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation.

Conducted programmes on MSW to Municipal workers and Municipal Councilors in every Municipality in the State – 17th Aug 2015 to 29th Sep 2015 covering 67 ULBs in 9 districts of Telangana State – sponsored by CDMA. Mobile APP was developed and demonstrated in the training programmes to capture the feedback of the programme.
EPTRI has piloted the mobile based feedback system which ensures accuracy and geo tagging of the captured data. Use of mobile devices such as smart phone and tablets and synchronization through cloud based web applications helps to capture and analyze the data seamlessly. This gives the sponsor a realistic picture of the effectiveness and impact of the Capacity Building programme.
Conducted sessions on MSWM & Source Segregation aspects covering Schools, Colleges, Districts Collectorates and Zilla Parishad Centers at Hyderabad and along campaign route – 63 sessions from 11th Dec to 29th Dec 2015. Well received with wide media coverage.
